ANSWER |
| What is a pre-charged aerosol?
|
A pre-charged aerosol is an aerosol spray can pre-fill with propellant and solvent blend. The final aerosol product is achieved by filling the pre-charged can with paint products or other liquid products. |
What type of thinner/solvent blend used in
the pre-charged aerosol?
|
Depend on the customer's requirement and the type of paint used. There are choices of universal solvent blend for general purpose usage and custom blend formulation optimum spray result and finishing. |
Are your aerosol products ozone safe?
|
Yes! We utilize naturally occurring hydrocarbon gasses as well as specially engineered non-chlorinated gasses that have no impact on stratospheric ozone. Additionally, we use natural carbon dioxide for some non-flammable products. |
What propellants are used?
|
Dimethyl ether, n-butane, propane, nitrogen, nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide or mixture of the mentioned gasses |
Are the gases inside the aerosol flammable?
|
Yes. Extremely flammable. |
Can we fill enamels?
|
Yes, with universal pre-charged aerosol or synthetic enamel pre-charged aerosol. |
Can we fill lacquers?
|
Yes, with universal pre-charged aerosol or acrylic lacquer pre-charged aerosol. |
Can we fill water-based paint?
|
Yes, with water-based pre-charged aerosol |
Can we fill non-paint products?
|
Yes, with non-paint pre-charged aerosol |
Do we need to dilute the paints before filling?
|
No, just fill the paint as it is without thinner or reducer |
Can we fill auto refinish paint i.e. basecoats?
|
Yes, with universal pre-charged aerosol or acrylic lacquer pre-charged aerosol. |
Can we fill single stage auto refinish paints?
|
Yes, after mixing with hardener/activator. Pot life inside the aerosol can last from 24 to 48 hours depend on the atmosphere temperature. If keep in the refrigerator it can be extend up to 1 week. |
Can we fill auto refinish 2K clear coats?
|
Yes, after mixing with hardener/activator. Pot life inside the aerosol can last from 24 to 48 hours depend on the atmosphere temperature. If keep in the refrigerator it can be extend up to 1 week. |
Can we fill epoxy paint?
|
Yes, after mixing with hardener/activator. Pot life inside the aerosol can last from 24 to 48 hours depend on the atmosphere temperature. If keep in the refrigerator it can be extend up to 1 week. |
Can we fill polyurethanes?
|
Yes, after mixing with hardener/activator. Pot life inside the aerosol can last from 24 to 48 hours depend on the atmosphere temperature. If keep in the refrigerator it can be extend up to 1 week. |
Do you accept private labels?
|
Yes. You can order white coated plain can and put your own labels or lithograph printed cans (minimum quantity apply). We encourage you to build up your own brand identity to cover wider market scope and increase market share. |
How long is the shelf life for 2K products?
|
From 24 to 48 hours depend on the temperature. If keep in the refrigerator it can be extend up to 1 week. |
Can we use our own thinners and mixed with
our paint?
|
Yes by using C200. Dilute the paint with suitable volume of thinner/reducer to get the desire spray viscosity and fill 200ml of the diluted paint into C200. But by using your own thinner does not mean better finishing or better quality. The thinner used might not be compatible with the gas and valve. We recommend using own thinner only in very special cases where the paint is not a conventional paint system like enamel, lacquer or two components paint systems. The special case means paints/coatings such as UV cure coatings. Or when the paint is filled into our existing pre-filled thinner aerosol cans does not deliver the desired results. |
Why there are so many types of pre-charged
aerosol?
|
Simply because there are too many types of paints. The various pre-charged aerosol are design to get optimum finish result. |
Warranty for pre-charged if cannot spray after filled with paints?
|
We do not provide warranty for our pre-charged after filling with products but we will investigate what caused the problems. |
Why no warranty for pre-charged with
products?
|
Reasons:- The finish products is produce through at least 4 parties or process consist of:-
-
Paint manufacturer
-
Aerosol pre-charged manufacturer
-
Aerosol valve manufacturer
-
Paint dealer (paint filling process)
-
Among the three categories, paint dealer are the one most exposed to weakness for the responsibility, because they are the one who did the final process where dirt/external particles may had fallen into paint during paint mixing and paint pouring that caused blockage in the aerosol spray valve system.
-
Paint being used may cause blockage too. Type of pigment being used or the paint manufacturing process may cause some external particles to cause blockage too. Aerosol manufacturing process many encounter some defects too but very unlikely because the whole filling process is enclosed and not exposed.
-
Aerosol valve many have defects too but very minimal because they mass produced with stringent quality control and sold world wide. We never use cheap valve from country like China . We use only made in UK or Germany .
|
What paint may cause blockage?
|
Normally special effect colours where the pigment particles may be too large for the aerosol spray valve system. Especially pearl and mica pigments. |
What else could cause blockages?
|
Besides pearl/mica or special effect pigment. Dried paint, dust or sand on the paint mixing lids. Or sometimes paint that did not stir well before filling may cause blockage too. |
Can we fill other products?
|
Yes with C200 but not recommended because it is designed for paint. |
What other products we can fill in future?
Examples?
|
Silicone products, waxes, greases, lubricants, under-seals, water based paints, party string spray, insecticides……….etc |
What can sizes are available?
|
We can produce any can size below 680ml. The standard can size is 400ml. The standard machine is design to fill cans from 100ml to 400ml. Cans larger than 400ml requires a larger machine that can be made to order. |

aerosol and our aerosol?
